What enforcement powers do UK Border Agency enforcment officers have?

Just wondered what enforcement powers these type of officers have to carry out their duties? Do they swear the oath to the crown like Police officers? Or any other information could be useful, thanks.

1. seems like not a lot since they let all these illegal wasters in to the UK
2. They have quite extensive powers which were granted in recent years. The Border & Immigration Agency website has more information on this. Your question is very general and to answer it would require an article rather than a few lines...
3. They can forcibly enter premises and search them for illegals, they can arrest and detain illegals and those suspected of being in the UK illegally. Very similar powers to the police except their powers relate only to immigration.
4. They can yell "stop or I'll yell stop again"!!
