The Alliance for Retired Americans announced on April 2 that it will host its National Membership Meeting and conference from April 27 to 30, 2026, at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas. The event marks the organization’s 25th anniversary of activism and aims to strategize, mobilize, and celebrate its work protecting pensions and rights of retired union workers.

The gathering is significant as it brings together members from across the country to elect national officers, debate and vote on resolutions, and organize ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. Participants will have opportunities to hear from leading labor figures, attend workshops, and take part in discussions about national strategies. The event will conclude with a Senior Prom Ball and Dinner.

Registration for the meeting costs $150 per person. The hotel rate is set at $69 per night. Both registration and hotel reservations must be completed by Monday, April 6, 2026.

This conference reflects ongoing efforts by retired union members to stay engaged in political processes affecting their benefits and rights. As midterm elections approach later in the year, such gatherings are seen as important venues for organizing collective action.

The Alliance’s meeting underscores its continued role as an advocate for retirees’ interests within the broader labor movement.
