California announces winter travel deals across hotels, restaurants, and theme parks

California is offering a range of travel deals this winter, with discounts on hotels, restaurants, and theme parks across the state. The promotions are available in various regions including Northern, Central, and Southern California.

In Mendocino, the Seafood & Sips festival runs from January 30 to February 8, with participating hotels such as Cottages at Little River Cove and Inn at Schoolhouse Creek offering up to 30 percent off for two or three-night stays. At Seagull Inn, mentioning the festival can also result in similar discounts.

Napa Valley visitors can purchase the “Little Book of Big Experiences” wine passport for $95. This passport grants VIP access to ten wineries and offers over $600 in savings on tastings and tours. Participating locations include Clif Family Winery and VGS Chateau Potelle Winery. The offer is valid through March 31, 2026.

Santa Rosa’s Vinarosa Resort & Spa features a “Grand Gesture” package starting at $23,000 that includes a suite stay with amenities such as breakfast in bed, champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, couples massage, private dinners, transportation by private car, and a personalized drone show above the resort’s vineyard.

Families visiting Soda Springs ski resort near North Lake Tahoe can buy season passes for $699 covering two adults and two children without blackout dates for the 2025–26 season.

Sacramento’s Kimpton Sawyer hotel offers a “King for a Day” package for basketball fans attending Sacramento Kings games downtown. The deal includes accommodations overlooking Golden 1 Center along with perks like breakfast credit and valet parking through April 30.

In Santa Cruz, Dream Inn guests receive 20 percent off rates plus dining credits until February 28. In Redding’s Shasta Cascade region, booking two nights at select hotels comes with free tickets to local attractions or gift cards redeemable at area businesses.

Yosemite National Park is promoting winter rates starting at $84 for Curry Village cabins through March 26. Discounts are also available at Ahwahnee Hotel and Yosemite Valley Lodge when booked by January 31 using code WINTER2026.

Mammoth Mountain’s Quad Pack+ allows skiers to purchase four-day lift tickets valid throughout the season with additional reloads discounted by 30 percent; there are no blackout days. Limelight Mammoth hotel offers grand-opening specials with reduced rates through June 2026 using code GRAND.

Modesto celebrates almond blossom season in February and March with packages that include audio tours and discount books providing up to 20 percent savings at local establishments.

Monterey Bay Inn has bundled whale-watching excursions into its accommodation packages during peak viewing season along Cannery Row near Fisherman’s Wharf and Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Southern California deals include Huntington Beach’s Kimpton Shorebreak hotel giving guests every fourth night free along with other perks like loaner bikes. Paséa Hotel & Spa is running discounted room rates plus reduced fees until December 31, 2026.

La Jolla’s Lodge at Torrey Pines provides special pricing during events like the Farmers Insurance Open golf tournament or year-round discounts tied to San Diego Zoo ticket purchases.

Catalina Island features romance packages combining hotel stays with round-trip ferry transport during Valentine’s season; midweek Best of Winter deals run through March 13.

Anaheim Portofino Inn & Suites gives every fourth night free for Disneyland visitors through December 31 next year while also bundling themed merchandise in some packages. Universal Studios Hollywood annual passes now cover fifteen months if purchased before April 8, coinciding with new ride openings in early 2026.

San Diego’s Ocean Park Inn offers discounted stays plus added benefits such as beverage credits until March; seniors receive free admission all February at San Diego Zoo Safari Park. During Museum Month in San Diego anyone can get half-price entry to more than seventy museums by picking up a pass from public libraries.

Temecula’s Ponte Vineyard Inn presents romance-themed packages featuring wine country tours hosted by Grapeline Wine Tours alongside gourmet amenities.
