Each week, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) adds new filings to ongoing and new proceedings that affect utility services, communities, and consumers in the state. These filings include Proposed Decisions, which are often open for public comment, as well as new complaints or applications that may influence future regulatory actions.
For the week of September 8-12, 2025, several notable filings were recorded:
A Proposed Decision was filed under Proceeding A25-04-015 on September 8, 2025. This application comes from San Diego Gas & Electric Company and seeks authority to establish a ratemaking mechanism for energization projects pursuant to Senate Bill 410. Members of the public can review this filing and submit written comments directly on the proceeding’s Docket Card.
Another Proposed Decision was filed under Proceeding R20-02-008 on September 8, 2025. This decision proposes to deny two petition requests to modify decision 12-12-036. The document is also available for public review and comment.
In addition to these decisions, a new complaint was filed under Proceeding C25-08-017 on August 29, 2025. Pilot Services, LLC submitted an application for registration as a Telephone Corporation according to Public Utilities Code Section 1013.
The CPUC encourages public participation in these proceedings. Individuals can submit comments on any Proposed Decision through the CPUC Docket Card system and can subscribe to specific proceedings using their numbers in order to receive updates and notices about rulings or other developments.
“Stay Informed and Make Your Voice Heard!” urges the CPUC in its announcement about these weekly filings.
