On Jan. 21, 2025, Daiso announced the grand opening of its newest store in West Sacramento, California, scheduled for February 1. The store will be located at Riverpoint Marketplace and marks a milestone in Daiso’s expansion across the United States.

The opening is significant as it reflects Daiso’s continued growth and customer demand in California. The company said it now operates 177 stores nationwide and plans to open more locations in 2025.

“We are thrilled to open our new store in West Sacramento. This milestone reflects the continued support of our customers, and we’re excited to introduce Daiso’s budget-friendly offerings to the West Sacramento community. We invite everyone to Discover Daiso and explore the variety of products we offer,” Jack Williams, Chief Retail Operations Officer for Daiso USA, said.

The new location spans 6,428 square feet and offers a range of products including Japanese-inspired home decor, kitchenware, beauty items, stationery, and snacks. Store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
