Disney Experiences has announced a leadership transition with Michael Moriarty set to become Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, replacing Kevin Lansberry. Lansberry is scheduled to retire in February 2026 after a 39-year tenure at Disney, during which he held various positions across Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts in areas such as Finance, Business Development, Alliances, Operations, and served as interim CFO for The Walt Disney Company in 2023.
Moriarty has almost twenty years of leadership experience within Disney. His previous roles include serving as CFO at Walt Disney Imagineering and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, as well as holding finance leadership positions at Walt Disney World Resort. For the last five years, Moriarty has been President and Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. During his time there, the resort saw expansion with the opening of World of Frozen and achieved a record-breaking year in 2024. He also led the launch of a year-long celebration marking the resort’s 20th anniversary.
