The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has extended the registration deadline for its 2025 Retirees Conference to Monday, September 15, 2025. The event is scheduled for October 20-22 at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

The conference, themed “Leaders and Legends,” aims to recognize the contributions of retirees while focusing on future union activities. According to organizers, it will bring together current and future retirees from across North America to foster community, share experiences, and discuss strategies for increasing retiree engagement within the union.

“This gathering is more than just a conference; it is also a celebration of solidarity and strength. Retirees and future retirees from across North America will come together to build community, share experiences, and strategize on how to elevate retiree engagement within our union.”

Participants can expect guest speakers, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with other IAM members. A tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is planned as part of the event on October 22.

“You can expect dynamic guest speakers, thought-provoking breakout sessions, and the opportunity to connect with fellow IAM members who have helped shape our proud history. As a highlight of the event, we’ll take a special tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday, Oct. 22. This will be an experience you won’t want to miss.”

Registration for both the conference and hotel accommodations remains open until September 15.
