Members of IAM Local SC 711 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with M1 Support Services and its subcontractors. The contract, which takes effect on January 1, 2026, covers employees across 29 job classifications including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians.
The agreement includes an 11.4% compounded wage increase over the duration of the contract—4.5% in the first year, followed by 3.5% and then 3%. Members will also receive increased paid leave with eight additional hours of sick time for all employees. The contract provides a five percent increase in employer contributions to members’ 401(k) retirement plans while maintaining the existing IAM pension benefit. An extra $390 per month will be earned by each member during the life of the agreement, and the company has agreed to cover increases in rehabilitation plan costs.
Additional provisions include new rules for on-call and standby pay as well as protections for overtime compensation.

IAM Local SC 711 became independent in 2016 after previously being part of another local located more than 25 miles away. Since then it has worked to better represent its specific membership needs through increased participation and presence on site.
