IAM negotiations team member Mark Costa, who works as a flight service specialist, is preparing for upcoming contract talks with the government contractor Leidos. Costa’s responsibilities include giving pilots essential weather and safety information. He represents Local 2010 in Reston, Virginia. Alongside his team and members of Local 2011 from Fort Worth, Texas, Costa is getting ready for these negotiations.

Costa said his work involves ensuring that pilots have up-to-date information needed for safe flights. The teams are focused on representing their interests as they approach discussions with Leidos.
