Ivy Geilker has been named Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, following an appointment by International President Brian Bryant of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM). The appointment, effective September 1, 2025, places Geilker under the leadership of Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett.

Geilker began her work with IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer. During this time, she led several organizing campaigns that resulted in pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at large companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy joining The Pharmacy Guild/IAM.

Before her role with IAM Healthcare starting in February 2024, Geilker was Senior Lead Organizer for the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position, she managed a team responsible for representing workers in diverse settings including state hospitals, public health departments, and university campuses.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
