Liz Snow has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Political Affairs at the California Chamber of Commerce. The announcement was made on August 6, 2025.
Snow previously served as Chief of Staff for Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas, where she played a role in the legislative process and contributed to work on the state budget and legislation that affects Californians. Her experience also includes serving as chief of staff to former Assemblymember Jim Wood, Chief Operating Officer of the California Dental Association, and Chief Executive Officer of the California Building Industries Association.
At CalChamber, Snow will be part of the executive team. She will collaborate with California businesses to support candidates who understand business challenges and lead political activities through CalChamber’s candidate and independent expenditure committees—JobsPAC, ChamberPAC—and its general issues committee, CalBusPAC.
CalChamber President and CEO Jennifer Barrera said: “No issue looms larger than California’s affordability crisis, and Liz will work closely with our business members to ensure their voices are heard come election day. Her deep experience is invaluable in our work to support lawmakers who are committed to improving and strengthening the state’s business climate.”
Snow commented on her new position: “Elected leaders must never forget that CalChamber’s members provide the jobs that fuel California’s economy. Providing businesses with a clear-eyed view of the political landscape is key to holding Sacramento officials accountable for their efforts to focus on affordability and reasonable regulations.”
Snow brings over thirty years of public service and advocacy experience into her new role at CalChamber.
