The Shag Store offers products inspired by illustrator Josh Agle’s colorful designs, including tiki mugs and retro-themed prints. Birba is a popular spot for outdoor dining, offering cocktails like the Heated Snake and a menu featuring salads, small plates, pizzas, and braised meats.

Just Fabulous is a shop curated by Stephen Monkarsh that sells eclectic wall art, books on fashion and architecture, magnets, kitsch items, and locally made clocks. Visitors can also explore hidden gardens behind the store.

Ernest Coffee + Bootlegger Tiki combines a coffee bar in the front with a tiki speakeasy in the back. The venue serves Stumptown Coffee drinks during the day and rum cocktails during happy hour each evening.

Trina Turk’s boutique showcases her signature desert-inspired fashion in bold colors and patterns. Dazzles specializes in midcentury vintage goods such as Lucite jewelry, glassware, serving dishes by Georges Briard, and costume jewelry.

Palm Springs continues to attract attention for its unique mix of modernist culture and retro influences.
