The California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA) has announced that PRIDE Industries has joined its membership. PRIDE Industries is recognized as a leading social enterprise in the United States, focused on creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities and others facing barriers to employment, such as veterans and former foster youth.

Lance Hastings, President and CEO of CMTA, stated, “PRIDE Industries is an exceptional addition to CMTA’s membership, and I am thrilled to welcome them to the association. Manufacturers across California are looking toward strong workforce development avenues, and PRIDE Industries’ commitment to creating meaningful career pathways and delivering high-quality products strengthens our state. I look forward to working together to advance opportunity and competitiveness across the industry.”

Tony Lopez, Vice President of Manufacturing & Logistics Services at PRIDE Industries, commented on the new partnership: “PRIDE Industries is excited to join CMTA and collaborate with leaders shaping the future of California manufacturing. With decades of hands-on experience in precision manufacturing and industrial operations across the state, we bring proven expertise in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. As a social enterprise, we’re committed to driving innovation and inclusion—strengthening California’s manufacturing sector while creating pathways for diverse talent and sustainable growth.”

Headquartered in Roseville, PRIDE Industries operates facilities throughout California and nationwide. The company employs about 4,000 people—nearly half of whom are individuals with disabilities—across more than 172 worksites in the United States.

CMTA has represented manufacturers before state legislative bodies since 1918. The manufacturing sector contributes approximately $300 billion annually to California’s economy—about 10 percent of total economic output—and provides jobs for 1.3 million Californians.

Founded in 1966, PRIDE Industries reports annual revenue of $483 million for 2024.
