District staff have completed a comprehensive renewal review for the California Montessori Project – Capitol Campus, as required by state law. The review covered several aspects of the school’s operation, including its educational program, performance data, fiscal health, governance, and compliance with both state and local standards.

The findings from this review were published on December 19, 2025. The report is available to the public at least fifteen days before the scheduled Board hearing on January 15, 2026. Community members can access the full report through the Sacramento City Unified School District’s website.

According to district officials, “This review included evaluation of each petition’s educational program, performance data, fiscal condition, governance, and compliance with state and local indicators.”

The process follows Education Code §§47605 and 47607, which set out requirements for charter school renewals in California.
