The Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) is inviting nominations for its Teacher of the Year and Classified Champion awards. Community members can nominate teachers or classified staff, such as office personnel, bus drivers, nutrition service workers, and instructional aides.

According to SCUSD, these recognitions aim to highlight the dedication and contributions of district employees. The nomination process is open to all members of the community who wish to acknowledge outstanding staff.

“Nominate your favorite SCUSD team member to be recognized as a Teacher of the Year or Classified Champion! Classified staff examples include office staff, bus drivers, nutrition service workers, and instructional aides. Vote here.”

Nominations can be submitted through an online form provided by the district.
