Sacramento City Unified to hold public hearing on American Indian Education Program

The Sacramento City Unified School District announced on Apr. 16 that its American Indian Education Program will hold an annual public hearing on Wednesday, April 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Serna Center.

The meeting aims to collect community recommendations for the district’s upcoming Title VI Indian Education Formula grant application for the 2026-2027 school year.

According to the announcement, the event will take place at the Serna Center located at 5735 47th Ave., with a scheduled time from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The notice invites members of the public interested in American Indian education issues within Sacramento City Unified School District to attend and share their input.
