Snapchat announces winners of first Snappys Awards Show recognizing top creators

Snapchat announced on Apr. 1 the winners of its inaugural Snappys Awards Show, honoring 22 creators for their creative work and cultural influence on the platform.

The event highlights Snapchat’s focus on supporting creators and fostering community engagement through new features and opportunities. The company said that Creator Subscriptions are now available to all eligible users, aiming to help creators build sustainable businesses and strengthen connections with their fans.

The show brought together prominent Snap Stars, industry leaders, and special guests such as host Matt Friend, Harry Jowsey, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Jeremiah Brown, Nic Vans, David Dobrik, Dixie D’Amelio, Francesca Farago, JoJo Siwa, Skai Jackson and others. Winners included Ashton Hall (Breakout Creator), Ella Moncrief (One To Watch), AdamW (Spotlight MVP), Rachel Levin (Best Storyteller), Zaina Sesay (Best Use of Creative Tools), Kylie Jenner (Comeback Star), DJ Khaled (Lifetime Achievement) and David Dobrik (Creator of the Year).

Other award categories recognized talent in beauty (Leilani Green), lifestyle (Ari Fletcher), athletics (Dwight Howard), music (Leon Thomas), food creation (Jack Mancuso), fashion design (Ashley Graham), comedy performance (LaLa Milan) and more. According to Snapchat’s announcement, these awards reflect rapid growth among both emerging and established talent using the platform.

Snapchat stated that this initiative builds upon its ongoing investment in creator monetization tools like Spotlight distribution as part of efforts to help creators grow their audiences. The company says it aims to make it easier for users to find success on Snapchat through expanded resources.
