Snap Inc. has announced the launch of Animate It, a new video generation feature available to Lens+ subscribers on Snapchat. The tool uses Snap’s proprietary artificial intelligence model to create short videos from user prompts.

According to the company, Animate It is designed to help users express themselves in new ways by transforming their ideas into shareable animated clips within seconds. “Whether you want to animate a reaction, dream up a mini-movie, or turn a playful idea into a dynamic clip, Animate It allows you to create motion from pure imagination,” the company stated.

Animate It is accessible through Snapchat’s Lens+ subscription service and aims to provide users with an easy way to generate creative content using AI technology.
